What does "Experience Connected Mobility" mean to you?
“Experience Connected Mobility“ means for rpc intelligent networking of mobility providers and users to create customized customer journeys. Under the leitmotif of "TRANSFORMATION IN SPACES“, mobility solutions have to be designed to be more efficient, more sustainable, and more personalized.
What do you hope to achieve at IAA MOBILITY 2023?
We would like to use the topic of automotive retail real estate to show how new 360° customer experiences can be created. How old-style car dealerships can be turned into integrative neighborhoods with diverse and lively uses in classic commercial areas (#Gewerbegebiete). How car dealerships can acquire more ecological and social credibility through a greater focus on sustainability and a mix of uses in line with people's needs.
Which essential topic of the future receives too little attention from the public?
The synthesis between the physical world of transport modes and mobility infrastructure and the digital world of personalized services is one of the greatest challenges for creating future-oriented urban mobility solutions. rpc - The Retail Performance Company defines itself as a bridge builder between the analog and the digital world and offers concepts and solutions under the #TRANSFORMATION IN SPACES
In which area of mobility do you see the greatest potential and where do you see the greatest need to catch up?
The automotive retailing of the future is facing serious changes. Those who limit themselves to offering cars in a dealership and having salespeople wait on customers will no longer have a successful future. A dealership must evolve into a mobility hub that creates needs-based mobility solutions and provides an interface to the increasingly digital products of the OEMs. Customer Interaction Management (#Software over the air) will ensure a dynamic of personalized mobility offerings that will open up a new dimension of consulting and support for customer experiences (B2C).

The formula for past success in the Automotive Industry was first-class product combined with an iconic brand. Beyond that, the deciding factor for success in the future will be the holistic customer experience. rpc would like to get in touch with OEM and dealer groups that have an interest in strengthening their sales strategy and performance based on this insight. These could be successful manufacturers and brands, but also committed newcomers who are interested in a comprehensive entry strategy for the German and European market.
The world is fundamentally changing. Innovation and also the endeavors in the mobility sector are bigger than ever before. What is your vision of the world in 20 years?
Our vision for 2043 is a city that offers customized mobility solutions but does not have to provide any or hardly any parking space for them. The mobility of the present is characterized by a high proportion of private vehicles exclusively assigned to one user, but which are only used to a maximum of 10% of their theoretical availability - the associated opportunity costs are far too high. The continuation of digitization in conjunction with autonomous driving opens up the possibility of reversing this disproportion, thus creating new opportunities for sustainable and demand-oriented urban development.
